Lydia Patterson and El Paso Giving Day

The Lydia Patterson Institute is a ministry of the South-Central Jurisdiction of the United Methodist Church that provides quality education in the Juarez-El Paso border region. The ministry is part of El Paso Giving Day, during which some corporate donors are providing matching funds for area charities. To learn more or to support LPI during this time go to https://elpasogivingday.org/organizations/lydia-patterson-institute.

Library Builder Grant

The Missouri Conference is partnering with Little Free Library to impact communities around the state! In our pursuit of connecting 100,000 students with 100,000 books, we encourage churches to consider whether a Little Free Library in their community could meet a need. Churches can apply for $250 micro-grants for materials to build, stock and maintain a Little Free Library in a neighborhood of their choice. Learn more and apply at www.moumethodist.org/librarybuildergrant

Wespath Virtual Event

In place of the Clergy Benefits Academy and RevItUp!, Wespath is hosting a virtual event on October 26-27. The event will be two half-days, both in the afternoon, and will provide education on the five dimensions of well-being for clergy of any age and stage in ministry. Registration is now open at www.wespath.org.
