October 14th marks our final public FEC deadline of the election. This is a big one because the number we submit could be the deciding factor for Republican super PACs looking to make a last-minute push in CA-49. A strong report will scare them away, but a poor showing could mean a surge in dark money spending against us.

Remember folks: It was not long ago that this district was considered a GOP stronghold. And we're still listed as one of the Republicans' top offensive targets in 2020. In order to solidify our hold on this seat, we can’t let up for even one second.

The Republicans are becoming increasingly desperate in their gambit to retake the House -- they are slipping in the polls everywhere.

Our job over the next couple of weeks is to send a message of grassroots strength in CA-49 and scare off any Republican PACs looking to make up ground in competitive races like ours. That's why this is an incredibly important request.
