There isn’t a lot of footage of Duane Allman which is a shame. The video that does exist of the guitar master is fleeting. But it’s mesmerizing to watch Duane perform with his “baby bro” (as he called him) Gregg Allman, Dickey Betts, and the rest of their extraordinary band. Fortunately, a year before “At Fillmore East” was recorded by producer Tom Dowd, PBS video taped the band performing at the Fillmore East. For many Allman Brothers fans this clip ([link removed]) is sacred.
