The National Republican Congressional Committee just dropped $880,000 worth of TV ads supporting our opponent in this race for Washington’s 3rd congressional district.

This move comes just one week after a new poll showed Carolyn Long only two points behind her Republican opponent, Jaime Herrera Beutler, moving us closer to flipping this seat from red to blue.

Now, it’s clear the GOP sees our momentum, and as a result they’re dumping nearly $1 million from their corporate donor network into this race to try and defeat Carolyn. We can’t let them succeed.

We’re running ads of our own to spread the word about Carolyn and her plans to be an independent voice for Southwest Washingtonians in Congress, and it costs a lot of money to keep them on the air.
