It’s up to movements like ours to welcome young voters into our community, give them the tools they need to vote, and invite them to take action with us in the fight for a Green New Deal.

Dear John,

This could be the most important election of our lives. Millions of people around the country are fighting off a virus while wildfires, hurricanes, and tornadoes tear through the land—and Trump is trying to shrug it off.

To have any chance of bouncing back from these disasters, we need to vote him out of office and transform Congress. If we swear in representatives who share our vision of a country where everyone’s needs are met, we can end the age of exploitation and start an age of community care.

We’re calling young voters in swing states who get ignored by greedy, power-hungry politicians every day to give them better options this election season. Can you join us for a shift in the coming weeks to help reach as many people as we can?

So many young people in these critical states feel their votes don’t matter. As we have demonstrated many times this year, they absolutely do. In June and July, we pushed middle school principal Jamaal Bowman in New York and civil rights lawyer Mike Siegel in Texas through their primaries into Congress. In August, we re-elected Medicare for All champion Rashida Tlaib in Michigan, and gained a historic win for community organizer Cori Bush in Missouri.

But despite the proof of our power, the establishment continues to fail to prioritize winning our generation’s support. It’s up to movements like ours to welcome young voters into our community, give them the tools they need to vote, and invite them to take action with us in the fight for a Green New Deal.

We are pushing as hard as we can to make 300,000 calls to young people in swing states in the next few weeks. Can you help us reach that goal? Click here for more information about our swing state phone banks and to sign up for a shift that fits with your schedule.

Together, we can make sure this election has the highest number of young voters the country has ever seen.

We can do this,

Sophia, Voter Contact Director
