Women's March--Celebration for Change! Saturday

The Women's March is planning a national action on October 17. Events are planned in many cities. The organizers say, "We’re holding socially distant actions across the country to send an unmistakable message about the fierce opposition to Trump and his agenda, including his attempt to fill Ruth Bader Ginsburg’s seat."
The event in Green Valley is being called "Celebration for Change" and is being planned by Jennifer Stowell ([email protected]). It is registered with the national Women's March organization.
She describes this rally as follows: "...celebrate the change that is coming November 3! We will meet at La Cañada and Esperanza on October 17 from 12:00-1:30. Masks and social distancing are a must, and we will stay off the street and on the sidewalks. Bring positive signs and celebrate!"
The Tucson Women's March event will be held at 10 a.m. at Armory Park, 222 S 5th Ave. More information is available here: https://womensmarch.com/.
