John —

Our first television ads of the campaign go live on Wednesday. We can’t overstate how important these ads are: they are far and away the most effective tool for us to engage voters in our community.

But there’s one issue: television ads are expensive.

While Mike Gallagher can raise thousands of dollars with one phone call to a corporate PAC or wealthy donor, Amanda has rejected these kinds of dark money contributions.

Which means we rely on hundreds of small, individual contributions of $10 or $15. But that’s the way we like it, because it means as your next representative, Amanda won’t be beholden to anyone but the voters in the 8th District.

We have just enough resources to run our ads for the next three weeks, but what we need to do now is expand their scope to reach more voters. That’s why we’re asking for you to help us raise another $75,000 before Election Day.

That might seem like a tall order, but we only need each one of our grassroots supporters to chip in a few dollars each to hit our goal. Can we count on you to help us reach more voters with our television ads?

If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately.
