“They are trying to evacuate everyone from the island because of so much dead bodies. You know because there's no food or water, they are trying to get everyone out”

Dear Friend,

Everywhere we go, people are crying.

The destruction caused by Hurricane Dorian in the Bahamas is much worse than originally expected. The death toll continues to climb and thousands have been reported missing. Your emergency gift now will provide families of survivors with urgently needed medical aid and supplies.

To put it bluntly: I’ve never seen the level of trauma following a disaster that I’m seeing here.

>>>Please make a gift today to support the communities in the Bahamas devastated by Hurricane Dorian.

I’ve been on the ground since last week with our emergency response team and medical volunteers. We’re assessing urgent needs and delivering lifesaving medicines and supplies. But there is so much more we need to do — and we need to act fast.

The Abaco Islands are a scene of unimaginable devastation. Homes, businesses, and medical facilities are either flooded or flattened by the massive storm.

Project HOPE has worked for over 60 years to deliver emergency medicines and aid around the world. Our teams also stay — as long as we are needed — to help deliver training and empower local health workers to save lives.

Your gift will go directly to our Hurricane Dorian Response Fund so we have the funds needed to respond quickly and save lives in the aftermath of this dangerous storm.

It takes all of us working together to save lives after a disaster like Hurricane Dorian. Will you join us by making a gift today to support our response in the Bahamas?

In gratitude,

Tom Cotter
