But I want to remind you of the timeline that happened in 2018 when I first ran for Congress. Up until two weeks before the election, our 2018 opponent was favored to win. In fact, almost exactly two years ago today, there was a New York Times poll that had us losing by four points. 

The momentum could shift back toward the GOP at any moment -- just like it shifted toward our campaign two years ago.

I say this all the time on the (virtual) campaign trail. Voters know me, and they know my record. And voters know our opponent and his record. 

The choice in this election is crystal clear: and voters are on our side when they hear about our positive vision for our community. But if we take our foot off the gas, we could give our opponent a chance to surge and take away our momentum.
