==============================
John,
Did you know that reaching out to your friends and family to urge them to vote, increases the likelihood that they will ? Well it does. #WeReady2020 means stepping up your civic engagement and becoming an ambassador in your community.
There are several opportunities for you to make a difference in this election, even if you aren’t eligible to vote. Our peer-to-peer text team can help you organize your social circle and get them to commit to voting this year. We’re building a BIG text team that will send millions of texts to voters -- primarily women of color -- to remind them to vote, be engaged and be part of changing our communities. There are other ways you can make a difference in this election:
Contribute to a safe and fair election and become a poll worker. This is one of the best ways to keep polling locations open and working, allowing for social distancing and quick voting for those who are voting in person.
Learn how voter suppression shows up and call it out when you see it. From watching on social media for disinformation to connecting with voters to help them learn their rights, there are several things you can do to ensure everyone who is eligible can cast their ballot.

There is too much at stake with this election to leave any votes on the table -- ramp up your voter engagement activities and make sure everyone in your community is prepared to make their voices heard.
Thanks,
Civic Engagement Team
