I heard it as one of the first women to graduate from Harvard Business school.

I heard it as one of the first women executives and entrepreneurs in the high-tech world in San Diego.

And I heard it when I was a journalist at the Los Angeles Times and Sacramento Bee.

But it’s 2020, and I didn’t expect to read this in a local newspaper:

Let’s make this clear: I’m not one of the “good old boys” who got us into the mess at City Hall.

But with my opponents spending millions of dollars telling Republicans I’m a Democrat, and Democrats I’m a Republican, I NEED YOU NOW.
