Hey John, we sent this email on Saturday so you may have missed it, but it's absolutely critical that you take a look.
Our campaign is facing some make or break moments this week: first our debate Wednesday, then the start of early voting the next morning, and finally our last public reporting deadline on Friday.
Grassroots donations slowed down over the weekend, and we really need to pick up steam in order for Roy to go into this debate strong.
Give our note a read, and if you're able to help, rush a donation of $10 to help us hit our $100,000 goal >>

Begin Forward:
John, we hate to be so direct, but Roy's campaign is facing some critical moments over the next week, and it would be a huge help if you could pitch in $10 for the first time right now >>

Here's the situation:
Wednesday night, Roy is taking the stage with his extremist opponent for a debate.
The next morning, early voting starts across North Carolina.
And at the end of the week we have our final public reporting deadline of the campaign!
Everyone - from the press, to Roy's far-right opponent, to the dark-money groups backing him up - will be poring over our report, trying to find any sign of weakness in the closing weeks of this campaign.
We need to show them that this grassroots team is fired up and ready to re-elect Roy. That's why we set an ambitious goal of raising $100,000 before Roy takes the stage.
But here's the problem: Donations have significantly slowed down, and we're tracking behind our goal.
Missing this goal would be a serious setback in our efforts to re-elect Roy. So, we're asking for your help to keep powering this fight.
If you're in a position to chip in, can Roy count on you to rush your first donation of $10 to help us knock this goal out of the park?

Let's knock it out of the park!
Team Cooper
We hope everyone is staying safe during this ongoing health emergency. The Cooper Campaign is now working remotely, and we encourage all those who are able to practice social distancing. We've taken the step of cancelling all in-person fundraising for the time being, making grassroots online outreach and fundraising even more critical than before. Roy and the rest of the team will keep working for a more prosperous, better-educated, and healthy North Carolina, and we hope you will stay with us in this fight. Further information on the Coronavirus and our response can be found here.
