Biology Matters in Sports

Radical feminists claim that women have no equality unless they are treated the same as men. They desire a sex-neutral society in which the differences between women and men are no longer celebrated or protected. In policy, this belief takes many shapes. From the Equal Rights Amendment to allowing transgender men into “women only” places, it’s still a very relevant issue and one that Eagle Forum has been on the front lines fighting for many years.

A couple of weeks ago, we asked for help in asking your Senator to cosponsor the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act. As you may recall, this legislation makes it a Title IX violation for a school, that receives federal education funds, to permit a biological male to participate in a sports program designated for women and girls. If a violation is found, the school risks losing its federal funding. In summary, the Protection of Women and Girls in Sports Act, protects the original intent of Title IX, which provides equitable sports for both males and females for programs receiving federal aid, like schools. Biological males are genetically stronger than women. Allowing males, who identify as female, not only takes athletic opportunities away from our daughters, it also violates their privacy.

To talk more in depth on this issue, Engage with Eagle Forum interviewed Concerned Women for America’s Doreen Denny. Not only does the discussion equip you with the background to fully understand the issue, it also provides you with action-steps to push back and protect our girls.

Eagle Forum Needs Your Help!

We need your help right now to recover and reopen our office. We must stay in the fight.

Americans are seeing an unprecedented assault on parental rights as transgender activists have succeeded in passing legislation that interferes with parents protecting their children in crisis. Eagle Forum will fight to pass legislation in all states to prohibit cross-sex hormones from being administered and sex-change surgeries from being performed on children under the age of 18. For your state, order our how-to handbook: Sex. Lies and Children.
