I was very happy to join PA Reps. Bridget Kosierowski and Marty Flynn in talking about the forward-looking vision we need for our state and our nation.

Joe Biden has said it best: this election is a choice between Scranton and Park Avenue.

The people here in Scranton aren’t looking for special treatment. They just want a shot. They want affordable health care that they can count on. They want jobs to come back to our shores. They want to know that the government will have their back and look out for their well-being.

My opponent is looking out for Park Avenue. He will cut earned benefits like Social Security and Medicare, and he is cheering on his party as they jam through the confirmation of a Supreme Court Justice who will repeal the Affordable Care Act and end health care coverage for those with pre-existing conditions.

The choice couldn’t be more clear. But each week, this race also gets tougher.

My opponent is using far-right media to fundraise, has gotten big Trump bucks from Donald Trump and Don Jr’s fundraising, and is now using that cash to spread lies about me online and on TV.

That’s why I’m making this personal request to you, John: Will you chip in $8 to help cover the operating expenses for our campaign? The stakes are too high for us to come up short and watch this swing seat flip red in a few short weeks.
