Hey folks,
I know we send a lot of emails asking for money, and I know it can be easy to lose sight of why we're doing all this, so today I want to reach out personally to remind you what this election is really about.
I grew up right here in Helena. I went to public school here, worked as a labor lawyer here fighting for a higher minimum wage, and now my wife and I are raising our three kids here in the Big Sky. I've always known how lucky I am to call Montana home.
That's why I ran for public office in the first place -- because I love Montana, and I know how important it is that we protect our Montana way of life for the families like mine who call this place home.
It's been the honor of my life to serve as Montana's governor. From saving our rural hospitals, to expanding healthcare to over 90,000 folks, to always keeping public lands in public hands, I'm pleased with all that we've accomplished together to keep Montana the last best place.
Now, I'm running for Senate to make Washington work more like Montana. We know how to reach across the aisle and find common-sense solutions to real-life problems -- and that's what Washington needs more of right now.
At the heart of it, this campaign is about Montana values. Hard work. Family. Unity. Will you invest in my campaign before our final public FEC deadline on Wednesday to help me bring those common-sense Montana values to Washington?

Unlike my opponent, I don't see Montana as just a part of my job title. It's home. That's why I refuse to take money from shady corporate PACs -- because they're not who I serve, and they're not who I'm looking out for.
Instead of courting corporate donors, we're building a grassroots movement of folks like you who want what's best for their families, their communities, and the state of Montana.
But folks, that means we need you to step up and own a piece of this campaign. Can we count on you to chip in a donation of any amount to help us keep up the fight for Montana?

I'm so grateful to have you with me in this fight,
