Friend—

It appears you’re making Mitch McConnell pretty upset.

On a private call with lobbyists, Mitch “vented” that he was in danger of losing his job due to being “financially overwhelmed because of small-dollar contributions.”

That’s right—because of people like you, Mitch had to go begging to his deep-pocketed special interest friends in the hopes they’ll bail him out one more time before Election Day.

Here’s the thing: We outnumber them—by a lot.

There are two ways we can respond to this news: (1) Do Mitch a favor and take it easy in the home stretch... or… (2) Put the pedal to the floor and make sure no special interest funding is going to swing this election in the final three weeks. (Here’s where you can chip in to help do that: [link removed])

Mitch McConnell has spent his entire career tearing down campaign finance laws to make it easier for dark money to influence elections. There’s a special level of irony to see him panicking because real people are chipping in, one donation at a time, to defeat him.

You almost feel bad for him—to see all his shady plans come unraveled because of a whole bunch of $5 and $25 donations from upstanding citizens.

Almost.

Chip in today, and let’s keep building this campaign the right way—if he thinks he’s sad now, just wait until November:
