The Maine Dems are joining forces with Portland, Maine-based Runaways Run Club for a virtual race! This is a great way to get you out and running, while helping to support your voice and vote.

Run for the People! is our grassroots virtual event happening October 12th - October 25th! You get to exercise your right to choose your distance: a 5K, 10K, 20k, or if you’re feeling ambitious all three!

You can choose to run your race wherever you are, in a safe, physically-distanced way (as if anyone would be able to keep up with you long enough to get within 6 feet!).

Entry fees are a donation to support the Maine Democratic Party. They will help fund our Get Out the Vote efforts to help elect Joe Biden, flip the Senate, and elect Democrats up and down the ballot. The time is now, the urgency is real. Join us, and together our voices will make a difference!

There will be prizes (including some Maine Dems swag!) for top finishers, and results will be updated daily through the challenge. Here's how to sign up!

2nd: Complete your registration by following the instructions in your donation receipt.

3rd: Run your race anytime between October 12 - October 25 and submit your activity results!
