It’s tempting to just tune him out and hope that we can wake up from what feels like a terrible nightmare. But we have to fight him and everything he represents. I’m ready to do that.

I’ve called on Democrats in Congress to impeach Trump. He deserves nothing less. And more than that, we have to confront the Republican Party that enables and empowers his destructive policies. After Trump falsely claimed that Alabama was at risk during Hurricane Dorian, politicians and federal agencies backed him under the threat of being fired. That's simply reckless and puts people's lives and well-being at risk.
