In 2018, climate voters helped elect a historic wave of Democratic scientists to Congress -- and fueled our grassroots campaign to flip IL-06 blue for the first time in nearly half a century.

Thanks to people like you stepping up and demanding action, my Democratic colleagues and I were able to pass the Climate Action Now Act, the first major piece of climate legislation to pass the House in a decade.

As a scientist and former clean energy entrepreneur, my first, second, and third priority in Washington is taking action to tackle the climate crisis -- but I’m a top target for national Republicans in 2020.
