No political party should have control over how Congressional Districts are drawn.

Unfortunately, Senate President Susan Wagle will do anything to ensure Kansas Republicans have total control in how our districts are drawn. Laura on the other hand is working to make sure the redistricting process is done in a way to fairly represent everyday Kansans, not a political party.

Laura is calling for the creation of a non-partisan voting commission to oversee Kansas' new electoral maps. The people of Kansas make their voices heard in every election, but when districts are drawn to unfairly benefit a single party, we must draw the line.

Let us make it clear: every single Kansan's voice -- and vote -- matters, and our legislative maps should reflect that.
