LISTEN TO THE PODCAST
Dear Friend,

Every day, on average 130 people die from opioid overdoses. This summer the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention released these stunning figures which show how widespread this health crisis is. This is a very real public health epidemic, and one life lost to an opioid overdose is one too many. This National Recovery Month, the Clinton Foundation is launching a campaign to increase awareness about the opioid epidemic and celebrate and support people in recovery.

I invite you to join us and our partners. Together, we can save lives and create communities of hope.

Listen to the new episode of the Clinton Foundation podcast “Why Am I Telling You This?” and learn about the ways you can act.

In this episode you’ll hear from experts such as former U.S. Surgeon General Dr. Vivek Murthy and Harm Reduction Coalition Board Member Julie Stampler, who share how we can help those in need. All throughout the month of September, we’ll be sharing stories of hope and important steps you can take to make a difference.

We all have a responsibility to act and we all can do more. Please join us.

Sincerely,

Bill Clinton
