For as long as I’ve known the Gov (which is a very long time), he has always refused to use the word “I” — he would scribble it out of speeches, cut it from emails, ignore ad scripts that mentioned it.
The Gov always said that he didn’t do anything — we did. That’s something he’s lived by his whole life.
When he first opened his brewpub, we overcame the odds to revitalize a district. When he became Mayor of Denver and Governor of Colorado, we came together to get things done.
So, when you think about it, none of this would be possible without a whole bunch of folks coming together to fight for something they believe in. Pretty cool, huh?
Now we’re facing our biggest, most important challenge yet — our final major FEC deadline before Election Day — and we’re counting on every single member of this grassroots team to help us overcome the odds and reach 50,000 individual contributions.
