John,

Over the past two decades, the opioid crisis has claimed hundreds of thousands of lives.

Thousands of lives senselessly lost. Thousands of shattered families left picking up the pieces. Thousands still struggling with their disease. But the people and corporations responsible for knowingly pushing dangerous, highly addictive opioids on Americans have not been held to account.

In the Montana House I sponsored a medication-assisted treatment bill in Montana. This increased access to comprehensive treatment that could save lives.

But responsive treatment isn’t enough. The opioid epidemic continues to rage on. We need prevention.

It’s time for Congress to act.

This has gone on for too long. We have lost too many lives to the pain and suffering of addiction. Sign the petition to demand that Congress take action.

It’s time for real change, and for pharmaceutical companies to be held accountable. Thank you for joining me in this fight.
