This is outrageous, team:

First, we find out that Mitch McConnell was in direct contact recently with several people who have tested positive for COVID-19—including three Republican senators.

Then, Mitch refused to answer reporters’ questions about if and when he’s been personally tested, all while continuing to attend events in Kentucky where he’s been photographed in crowds not wearing a mask.

Let’s be 100% clear about something: Mitch’s behavior is risking the health of everyone involved in these events (not to mention the health of their loved ones and people he never comes into contact with). The CDC says that anyone who’s been in direct contact with an infected person should go into quarantine and get tested.

We shouldn’t have to ask him to do the responsible thing. But we guess the rules apply to Mitch McConnell only when it’s convenient for Mitch McConnell.

Kentucky voters deserve to hear their senator explain why he’s not taking this virus seriously and why he’s done next to nothing to stop it or the worsening recession, all while moving heaven and earth to jam through a Supreme Court nominee during an election.

We won’t stop holding Mitch McConnell accountable for his recklessness—chip in right now and let’s show him that he’s never faced a campaign like ours:
