Imagine what Republicans would do if given the chance to rewrite the Constitution.

It's unpleasant, but unfortunately, it's a real possibility.

Republicans control nearly enough state legislatures to call a constitutional convention, without a single Democratic vote. They need 34, and they currently have 29.

To stop this possibility from becoming a reality, we've invested heavily in state legislative races to help turn key chambers blue.

As unreal as it seems, Republicans are way ahead of us. They've held mock conventions so that they'll know exactly what to do once they control enough states to call for a convention.

But here's the good news: We're not letting them get away with it.

We have big plans to make sure pro-choice Democratic women are running for critical seats. This cycle, we've put 11 state legislative chambers "On Notice" and endorsed hundreds of women to run against state House and Senate Republicans in their communities.
