Will you take a few minutes today to CALL Rep. Pallone’s office and demand that he hold a Medicare for All hearing in the Energy & Commerce Committee?
Medicare for All

Hey there,

Last month, Chair of the House Energy & Commerce Committee, Rep. Frank Pallone (D-NJ), revealed his thoughts on Medicare for All: "I'm not sure the public wants change."

Pallone couldn't be further from the truth. Polls show that more than 85% of Democrats and 70% of Americans support Medicare for All. That's why we're launching a 24-hour pressure campaign to make sure he receives that message loud and clear.

Will you take a few minutes today to CALL Rep. Pallone's office and demand that he hold a Medicare for All hearing in the Energy & Commerce Committee?

(And use our suggested script below)

"Hi, my name is _____. I strongly support H.R. 1384, the Medicare for All Act of 2019, because it is the only solution to our health care crisis that will guarantee health care while saving trillions of dollars. I am urging Rep. Frank Pallone to use his power as Chair of the Energy & Commerce Committee to schedule a hearing in his committee as soon as possible."

Getting Rep. Pallone to hold a hearing in his Energy & Commerce Committee is an essential step toward winning a floor vote on H.R. 1384. And we know for a fact that these mass-actions can work.

Earlier this year, we secured historic hearings in the Rules, Budget, AND Ways & Means Committees. We've also secured 119 co-sponsors for H.R. 1384 in the House. This is our chance to build on those victories, and get one step closer to winning Medicare for All.

Join our coalition of activists, organizers, and supporters: call Rep. Frank Pallone's office today at 202-225-4671, and demand that he hold a hearing on Medicare for All in his Energy & Commerce Committee.

We can't — and won't — let members like Rep. Pallone bury their heads in the sand. Let's send a clear message today!
