BREAKING: Polls are showing the Senate race in Colorado tightening. This is urgent — former Governor John Hickenlooper (D) had held a commanding double-digit lead over Dirty Dozen member Cory Gardner (R) for months, and now it's looking like the gap is closing.

Colorado is a must-win state to have any shot at retaking an environmental majority in the Senate. Ballots are already getting mailed out — there's no time to waste — we are down to the wire.

Environmental issues are close to the hearts of millions of Coloradan voters, but we need the resources to reach all of them in order to ensure a win.

Your emergency contribution will go directly to helping win tight races in states like Colorado. Every contribution will be triple-matched — even $3 is enough to make a difference »

Despite claiming to support natural lands, Cory Gardner helped Trump completely gut emissions standards and voted to confirm two Trump-appointed heads of the EPA who were previously fossil fuel lobbyists. In 2016, he refused to confirm President Obama's nominee to the Supreme Court, and now he's jumping at the chance to confirm Amy Coney Barrett just weeks before the election.

We have a shot — a real shot — at defeating Gardner, but the truth is — our resources are stretched. Winning in Colorado won't mean much if we lose swing Senate seats in other crucial states.

In Montana, Steve Daines (R) is polling just a few points ahead of Steve Bullock (D) — Daines is running ads claiming he's supported conservation efforts, when really those efforts have been funded by profits from offshore drilling. Daines has accepted nearly $500,000 from the oil and gas industry in this election cycle alone.

In Arizona, Martha McSally (R) is in a close race with Mark Kelly (D). McSally has promoted her love of the outdoors, but voted to extend the lifetime of dirty coal plants. Over 71% of Arizonans feel that climate change is a major issue, but McSally has yet to claim definitely that she believes it is manmade.

We're running out of time to help remind voters of the facts:
  • Cory Gardner has a lifetime LCV score of 11%, and a record littered with votes against the environment.
  • Steve Daines has a score of 6% and has actively pushed Trump to oppose legislation supporting clean energy.
  • Martha McSally has a lifetime LCV score of just 7% and has taken over $700,000 in campaign donations from the oil and gas industry.
I'm not going to sugar coat it: we don't have the funds to help in all these states — please make an emergency gift today so we don't risk choosing to leave a winnable race.

Each of these races are polling incredibly tight right now. Each race pits an environmental leader against a rubber stamp for Trump's racist, environmentally destructive policies. If we don't hit our target of $150,000 by the end of the month, we're out of time and out of options — we'll have to pull back in one of these states and risk losing a critical race.

If everyone reading this donates, we'd blow through that goal in minutes.

These races are too close and the stakes are too high — make an emergency contribution to LCV Victory Fund — every dollar will be tripled, and even $3 is enough to make a difference »

With your help, I know we'll win Colorado, Montana, Arizona, and the Senate. These are vital races, but I know we can count on you to show up.

Thanks for everything you do.
