We often say that this is the most monumental and consequential election of our times, but that description does not fully capture the stakes this year. Trump's failed response to the pandemic, alignment with white supremacist groups, and assault on democracy will only grow worse if he wins on November 3—meaning more attacks on Black people. And earlier this week we saw Vice President Mike Pence echo all of Trump's false claims and feigned ignorance in response to most questions at the debate. The short of it is, we're not taking this election lightly and neither should you John—we must elect Joe Biden as president.

Donald Trump is going to try to steal this election and we must cut through his fabricated chaos. We urge voters like you to commit to vote, whether by mail or in-person as soon as possible, because Trump and his racist, conservative allies are trying to take away votes in every way imaginable. 

Every study shows that when people commit to making a plan to cast their ballot, they’re much likely to actually vote! So, if you make a plan to vote and take responsibility for turning out one friend to vote for Joe Biden, we exponentially increase the likelihood he'll be elected in November.

Elections are won at the margins, and we can't afford to sit on the sidelines. The path to victory and protecting our communities starts with you. 2020 has been an extremely challenging year for all of us. And despite those challenges, we know we will come out victorious.
