District Attorney (DA) in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. This is a really
important election, and I need as many people as possible reading this
email to join us in supporting his campaign now.
Since we won a landmark victory in Philadelphia with the election of DA
Larry Krasner, Pennsylvania lawmakers from the old-guard political
establishment have fought tooth and nail to try to block reform. Now we
need to elect reform-minded DAs like Hobie across the state to push back
against anti-reform special interests.

Lancaster County has had a conservative white man, Craig Stedman, running
the DA’s office and fueling the mass incarceration machine for over a
decade. Lancaster is ready for real change. It’s time to replace him.
Hobie Crystle has fought for working people in a broken criminal justice
system for over 30 years. He helped lead the anti-apartheid divestment
movement at Wesleyan University before becoming a public defender to work
towards the idea of equal justice. We can count on him to end cash bail,
treat addiction as a public health problem, and prioritize rehabilitation
and restorative justice over incarceration.
