Hello there

POLITICO: “President Donald Trump’s nominee to the Supreme Court did not commit to recusing herself from cases related to the outcome of the 2020 presidential election, according to her written responses to a Senate Judiciary Committee questionnaire.”

This isn’t good. The GOP has been pushing Amy Coney Barrett’s appointment to the Supreme Court forward at rapid speed. In the wake of Trump’s debate night comments that he’s “counting on [SCOTUS] to look at the ballots” in the case of disputes over election results, Barrett’s refusal sends a clear message.

Sen. Richard Blumenthal said it best: “The underlying fault here is with the timing, which makes it a sham...certainly she should recuse herself. In a normal world, there would be no question about it.”

Unfortunately, there is some question about it -- which is why we need an answer from you now.
