I want to share some updates with you from Congress and my campaign for reelection. Here are three things you need to know:

1. Last week, the House of Representatives passed an updated COVID relief package to address the country’s evolving needs. Despite this victory, the White House and Senate Republicans remain unwilling to move the bill forward or negotiate in good faith. Emergency aid for millions of Americans should not be a question of politics, and I urge those in power to take action before more lives are lost.

2. I am honored to be endorsed by the Global Veterans and Military Families Caucus. The Caucus is a branch of Democrats Abroad, a coalition to protect the voting rights and representation of American citizens living across the globe. I am grateful for the endorsement and I reaffirm my commitments to voting rights and the inclusion of Americans abroad, particularly veterans and military families.

3. During Wednesday’s vice presidential debate, Senator Kamala Harris delivered a call to action: “Vote. Please vote. Vote early. Come up with a plan to vote. Go to iwillvote.com. … And if we use our vote and we use our voice, we will win.”

I wholeheartedly agree with Senator Harris. It is time to take our protest to the polls. Please visit iwillvote.com to double-check your registration, request a mail-in ballot, and make a plan to cast your vote. To place our nation back on course, every voice must be heard.
