John,

Climate change can upend our economy, health, and national security. But it’s hardly gotten airtime in our presidential debates.

In 2016, just 1.5% of the presidential debate questions were about climate change. In the 2020 Democratic primary debates, some debates didn’t even have a question about climate change. It’s scary that such a critical issue can be so ignored.

The first presidential and vice-presidential debates had questions about climate change. That’s a good start, but it’s not nearly enough.

CLIMATE CHANGE IS AN EXISTENTIAL CRISIS FOR HUMANITY. WE NEED THE PRESIDENTIAL DEBATES TO REFLECT THAT. ADD YOUR NAME: DEMAND ALL UPCOMING PRESIDENTIAL DEBATES DISCUSS CLIMATE CHANGE >>>
