Hey John -

Dan Crenshaw here. I hope you are well.

This week, the Houston Chronicle endorsed me and I sat down with former Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley. I also released a video outlining the truth about COVID-19 relief.

Follow me on Twitter ([link removed]) , Facebook ([link removed]) , and Instagram ([link removed]) for regular updates and news you can use. As always, thank you for your support.

Now, here’s your campaign brief:

HOUSTON CHRONICLE ENDORSEMENT

“[I]t’s impossible to ignore Crenshaw’s star power and his potential to shape the future of the Republican Party around respect, ideas and principles.

“In addition, if he retains his seat, Crenshaw is likely to wield the kind of power that matters on delivering funding for dredging, roads and floodgates. We believe voters should return him to Congress.”

Those are the words from the Houston Chronicle editorial board, endorsing me in my campaign for Congress.

Since going to Congress, I’ve fought hard for the people of my district. I have passed more bills than any freshman Republican - all of which have been bipartisan - for issues ranging from combating human trafficking to reducing emissions through innovation to providing relief for victims of Hurricane Harvey. And I am in the top 10 of the most bipartisan members of the Texas congressional delegation.

I will continue to fight for this community and use my platform to be their voice in Washington, D.C. Click here or on the image above to read the Chronicle endorsement. ([link removed])

THE TRUTH ABOUT COVID RELIEF

Nancy Pelosi isn’t telling the truth about “failed negotiations” surrounding COVID-19 relief.

The truth? Pelosi and House Democrats believe “nothing is better than something,” and have rejected multiple opportunities to advance targeted, commonsense relief for the American people. There are plenty of COVID relief bills they could put on the floor for a vote that would get signed into law.

But Nancy Pelosi and Democrat leadership in Washington are putting politics over solutions, and small businesses, unemployed Americans, and students and their families are left in the lurch.

A CONVERSATION WITH NIKKI HALEY
It was great to have my friend Nikki Haley in Houston again this week. She was an incredible spokesperson for America on the world stage as our UN Ambassador, and she continues to advocate for our values today.

Nikki Haley has seen up close what works and what doesn’t work, both as the Governor of South Carolina and at the United Nations. During our discussion, she shared one powerful insight she has gained from these experiences: progressivism always leads to socialism.
