You may know Cory Booker as the sharp and fiercely compassionate senator from New Jersey. I know him as a tireless gun safety advocate, a role model, and a dear friend.

As the mayor of Newark and a U.S. Senator, Cory has always made fighting gun violence a top priority. He’s been a leader in developing innovative policies and community programs to make Americans safer, and constantly pushes his colleagues towards collaborative solutions. And he’s been by my side for years, never failing to inspire me or make me laugh.
