This coming week is important in the fight to confirm Amy Coney Barrett to the Supreme Court with hearings set to begin Monday morning. Heritage Action is ready, and we’re mobilizing our grassroots army to support Judge Barrett.

Heritage Action has spent a decade building the nation’s most effective grassroots network and for the last six months, we have been expanding that network – reaching independent voters and recruiting conservatives in key swing states by calling over two million households and knocking on over 200,000 doors since March.

Heritage Action Sentinels all over the country are engaging to support Judge Barrett’s confirmation. This past week, Sentinels joined rallies in Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina, and Virginia to urge the Senate to #ConfirmAmy!
Senator Kelly Loeffler (R-GA) got in on the action with one of our Confirm Amy signs!
We know many of you plan to attend rallies in support of Judge Barrett in the coming days and weeks. If you need a sign, you can download & print our “Confirm Amy” sign to take with you to events <[link removed]>!

Speaking of the Supreme Court, the topic made a splash in Wednesday night’s Vice Presidential debate when Kamala Harris refused to answer whether she and Joe Biden support packing the Court. The next day, Biden refused to tell Americans his position <[link removed]> saying, “you’ll know my position on court-packing the day after the election.”.

In a statement, Heritage Action’s Executive Director Jessica Anderson underscored that this is unacceptable to the American people <[link removed]>. “Packing the Supreme Court would turn it into a mini-legislature and overturn an American institution. Biden's refusal tells you everything you need to know about his radical agenda for the nation. If elected, Biden would take over the Court for the political purposes of the far Left.”

The VP debate “showed progressives like Harris still have the same goals as ever — but now they're using Biden to achieve those goals,” Jessica said in her post-debate opinion for CNN <[link removed]>. “Last year, Harris was rated more liberal than any other U.S. Senator by GovTrack.us, and her performance on Wednesday proved nothing has changed. She promised a repeal of Trump's tax cuts, which a Heritage Foundation study shows <[link removed]> help the middle class, refused to disavow the Green New Deal she co-sponsored, and dodged the court-packing question.”

To Fight For America means to stand up for American values and institutions in the face of the Left’s extremism, and we continue to shine a light on the vast differences in values before us.

Fight for America Stories
Keep Dallas Safe rally
Two hundred people rallied outside Dallas city hall to protest against and bring attention to the council’s recent decision to strip $7 million from the police budget. Rally organizer Amy Gibson told the crowd, “We’re gathered here to show the city council, who continue to vote against the interests of the citizens of Dallas, that we’re watching, we’re paying attention, and we will not stand for it,” encouraging attendees to run for office themselves. Our “Back the Blue” signs were visible in the crowd.
Heritage Action’s “Back the Blue” yard signs a hit in local precinct
As we reported in our August 4th newsletter, Sentinel Wendi Mahoney is providing Lunches for Law Enforcement Officers <[link removed]> every other week. She recently made her 8th visit to serve 80-100 lunches for the police in her local precinct, during which she also gave 25 of our “Back the Blue” yard signs to officers in the precinct. Wendi reported that the officers were incredibly touched by the sentiment of those yard signs–some to the point of tears–and expressed their gratitude for the support. Wendi plans to continue serving lunches for law enforcement officers long term and potentially expanding to other cities across the country!
Sharing meals with Police officers
Bob and Joanna Young of Germantown, Tennessee started “Cop Stop,” a community outreach where Germantown Police Officers are invited into the homes of local residents each week to enjoy a home-cooked meal at the family table. Officers build relationships with the residents they serve and residents can show their support and appreciation for all they do to protect the community. What originally started small has now spread throughout the city of Memphis and the surrounding suburbs! There are now over 500 members of the Germantown Cop Stop Facebook group <[link removed]> who participate.
Registering Voters
Sentinel Lisa Hazelton has been talking with people about issues and registering voters at churches in California and other events and locations around the state. Remember, to Fight For America includes voting for America!
The Police Pledge
215,000 people have signed the Heritage Action Police Pledge including members of Congress, state and local officials, and citizens all across the country!
It’s not just federal officials singing on – the Pledge is also impacting the debate at the state and local level with over 300 state and local officials adding their names so far. Alabama State Rep. Wes Allen signed the Pledge, tweeting <[link removed]>:
Sign the Police Pledge <[link removed]> now if you haven’t already!
