SCHOOL CHOICE
As a strong supporter of school choice, I am pleased to announce that the U.S. Department of Education has granted $78,333,333 to Florida for charter schools. This grant has helped create nearly 70,000 high-quality seats in high-quality schools.
We are lucky to have a President who ardently supports school choice. The Trump administration has helped empower families nationwide, by giving them the freedom to choose the best schools for their children.

Trump offers to sign pork-free COVID relief bill to get checks to Americans: ‘Are you listening, Nancy?'
At the time, Congressman Matt Gaetz said he opposed the Democrats’ relief proposal because the agenda items that Democrats demanded had nothing to do with COVID. “Everyone is for testing. Everyone is for medical infrastructure like ventilators,” Gaetz said. “Where Republicans have challenges is where we have legislative provisions that FOREVER change entitlement programs.” Gaetz added: “Unfortunately, we see the Speaker of the House trying to jam the President. Putting reformations to abortion laws and abortion practices into this legislative package as a way to make Republicans and the President look like we don’t support [giving aid to Americans]."
