Let's deliver the last blow to the NRA. ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌ ‌
Apparently, the only way to stop a bad guy with a gun is with the IRS.

Are you surprised, John ? Because we aren't. The decision by the IRS to investigate the NRA's Wayne LaPierre is the latest blow to the all-powerful gun lobby. In August, New York Attorney General Letitia James filed a lawsuit to dissolve the NRA, accusing LaPierre for using millions of NRA dollars for yacht trips, private jet flights for his family, and, don't forget, Italian designer suits.

The newest investigation by the IRS reaffirms what Brady has known for decades: The NRA is the most corrupt organization in America.

SIGN OUR PETITION TO THE IRS >> [[link removed]]

It's why in October 2019, Brady filed a complaint with the IRS seeking the removal of the NRA's tax-exempt status. We even hand-delivered tens of thousands of petitions signed by Brady supporters to the IRS.

It's more clear than ever that the NRA is spinning out of control. But we cannot let our gaurd down yet. We have, in fact, seen the NRA's lawyers in action, and they are clever. That's why we need to hit our goal of 200,000 petition signers by midnight to ensure the IRS hears us loud and clear. John, will you sign our petiton to the IRS and help us deliver the final blow to the NRA? [[link removed]]

Brady Legal Demands Justice Against Armslist.com

Last week, Brady Legal filed a lawsuit in Wisconsin on behalf of the estate of Sara J. Schmidt, a mother of three who was shot and killed in a murder-suicide by her estranged husband in January 2018. Our lawsuit filed against Armslist.com, an online gun marketplace, alleges that they sold a handgun to Sara’s husband, who was prohibited from possessing a gun due to a history of domestic violence against Sara.

Our suit alleges that in arming Sara’s husband, Armslist.com knew it would be helping provide a gun to a prohibited purchaser. No one, especially victims of domestic violence, should live in fear knowing their abuser can simply go online and illegally purchase a firearm. You can count on Brady Legal to hold negligent dealers accountable for putting profits ahead of safety. Read more about our legal case against Armslist.com for justice for Sara Schmidt and her family. [[link removed]]

In a landmark [[link removed]] Brady Legal case [[link removed]] on behalf of 13-year-old J.R. This unparalleled federal protection [[link removed]] enjoyed by the gun industry blocks victims of gun violence from having their day in court. To discuss this unprecedented decision and what it means for all victims and survivors of gun violence, we convened survivors, experts from Brady, Brady Legal, and Team ENOUGH. [[link removed]]

That's why Team ENOUGH, Brady's youth-led initiative, is co-hosting a National Youth Call-In Day on Wednesday, October 14, to demand senators stop this undemocratic process.
