Did you see the news? As if we didn’t already have enough evidence of Governor Kate Brown’s corruption and tyranny, on Monday morning her appointed Public Records Czar, Ginger McCall, abruptly resigned. McCall was hired in 2018 to direct the Public Records Advisory Council, a state agency created in the wake of the John Kitzhaber corruption case that led to his resignation as governor.

Instead of fulfilling her campaign promises for more transparency and accountability, Kate Brown has done nothing but continue the uninterrupted line of corruption of the Kitzhaber administration. Brown pressured McCall to represent the positions of the governor’s office, and to keep it quiet! From McCall’s resignation letter:
I have received meaningful pressure from the Governor's General Counsel to represent the Governor's Office's interests on the Public Records Advisory Council, even when those interests conflict with the will of the Council and the mandate of the Office of the Public Records Advocate. I have not only been pressured in this direction but I have been told that I should represent these interests while not telling anyone that I am doing so. I believe these actions constituted an abuse of authority on the part of the General Counsel, and are counter to the transparency and accountability mission that I was hired to advance.

Let’s be honest. Kate really needs to go. Monday’s news is only the latest in a long line of abuses against the people of Oregon. Here’s the full language of our petition:
The people of Oregon deserve and expect a Governor that honors the will of the voters and works for the good of all citizens, not just special interests and politically-motivated agendas.
During and/or before the 2019 legislative session Governor Brown:
Overturned the will of the voters by granting driver's licenses to illegal aliens
Overturned the will of the voters by reversing ballot measures that limited taxation
Denied citizens the right to fully protect themselves as guaranteed by the Constitution
Denied citizens protection from the growing domestic terrorist threat known as Antifa
Attempted to deprive Oregon's working families of jobs using faulty environmental policy
Attempted to deprive Oregon's families their right of medical and religious freedom
Failed to address the PERS crisis that threatens the economy and government retirees
Failed to protect Oregon's foster children and failed to cooperate with investigations
Used taxpayer money to launch frivolous million-dollar, politically-motivated lawsuits
Repeatedly supported the use of the “emergency clause” on non-emergency legislation (effectively denying the voters of Oregon a voice on legislation they opposed)
She has threatened to usurp legislative power with executive orders to implement her failed legislation, deciding single-handedly what is best for Oregon.
This is not the Oregon way.
