Continental School Board
The Continental School Board has four open positions.
Current board member, Shelley Kais is running uncontested.
Two incumbents, Andrew McGibbon and Richard Ulrey, are running against three write-in candidates for three open positions. The write-in candidates are: Kelley Allen, Laura Cortez-Estrada, and Paul Fitch.
Save Our Schools (a statewide organization dedicated to supporting public education) and a4a are not endorsing any of these candidates. However, our LD2 state senator, Andrea Dalessandro, recommends Kelley Allen as a write-in. Kelley Allen's name must be spelled correctly to be counted.
For more information on the school board candidates, check out these resources: Green Valley News article (in the October 7th edition) and the website of the Pima County Superintendent of Schools.
