West Virginia’s motto is montani semper liberi which means: mountaineers are always free. Well, John, my opponent is NOT free. She is bought and paid for by corporations. About 2% of her campaign is financed by individual donors. The remaining 98% comes from corporations and corporate PACs.
Every dime of my funding comes from individual donors who are investing in a future government that works for people, not corporations.
So I’m writing to you today about a very important deadline -- October 15th.
This is the final FEC filing cutoff before the home stretch of the election cycle, and it is our absolute drop dead date.
What we raise by that date will be a culmination of all of our collective investment in this campaign. You have invested in electing an unbought representative to the U.S. Senate.
This is why we send so many fundraising emails. We will never outraise Shelley Moore Capito, because we are actually competing with billion dollar corporations.
BUT we can still vote Shelley out IF we can raise what we need by October 15th and reach voters through TV and digital ads.
So, this is it. I’m asking you to dig as deep as you can before that deadline, because everything we are fighting for is on the line.
If you've saved your payment information with ActBlue Express, your donation will go through immediately:
If we stand together, we can flip this Senate seat in a few short weeks from now.
