Learn where your candidates stand on Social Security and Medicare!

Dear John,

The most important election in perhaps a generation is now less than one month away. If you turn on the television you can't escape all of the campaign ads touting the positions of the candidates and incumbents running for political office. So how do you know who's going to stand strong for Social Security and Medicare — and reject the growing calls by so-called "fiscal hawks" in Washington for cutting earned benefits?

When you mail in your ballot or go to the polls on November 3, 2020, know where your candidates stand on the issues that matter most to you!

The National Committee's 2020 Congressional Scorecard, which is now available to view online, will tell you exactly how your members of Congress voted on key bills that could impact Social Security and Medicare. This is a powerful resource our legislative staff has worked on tirelessly in order to make sure you have the most current, most accurate information possible.

You can access the National Committee's Congressional Scorecard here.

If you're considering casting an absentee or mail-in ballot, I urge you to do so as soon as possible. If you decide to cast your vote by mail, please read all of the instructions carefully and remember to sign your ballot before mailing it back. That way if there are any issues with your ballot you'll still have time to fix it. Learn more about your state's rules on absentee and voting ballot by mail.

With so much at stake in this historic election, rest assured the National Committee is working in the final weeks of this critical election to inform congressional candidates and incumbents about the urgent need to protect and strengthen Social Security and Medicare for millions of workers and retirees in America. We serve as your voice in Washington!

Sincerely,
Max Richtman Signature
