This year, World Mental Health Day ([link removed]) is more meaningful than ever. The stress and uncertainty of the coronavirus pandemic, the global civil rights movement, and the everyday struggles we’re all facing at home prompt us to look for new ways to prioritize mental health for our families and ourselves.

At the Child Mind Institute we are committed to supporting families with resources on mental health challenges, including a wide range of articles and mental health guides, Spanish language resources, and our weekly newsletter. We’ve offered support on dealing with the extraordinary pressures created by the pandemic, including our new downloadable tip sheet ([link removed]) featuring practical strategies to help kids (and parents!) stay mentally healthy this winter.

We're also thinking to the future, by promoting achievement in science and research through annual events like our On the Shoulders of Giants Scientific Symposium and honoring the most promising talent of tomorrow at our Rising Scientist Awards.

In honor of World Mental Health Day exclusive interviews with actors Ali Wentworth ([link removed]) and Bill Hader ([link removed]), who open up about their own mental health challenges and offer advice for others going through the same thing.
