Earlier this week, Mike took the (virtual) stage against his far-right republican opponent, and he knocked it out of the park, so we wanted to share a few highlights:

On the issue of health care: Mike highlighted his work to protect the Affordable Care Act and his votes to stop a Trump lawsuit that would have stripped coverage from over 100 million Americans with pre-existing conditions.

On the issue of the environment: Mike discussed his tireless efforts to eliminate nuclear waste from San Onofre. As a member of the House Select Committee on the Climate Crisis, he has also spearheaded key pieces of legislation to promote renewable energy and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.

When it comes to our veterans: Mike highlighted the 20 (yes, 20) bipartisan bills he introduced supporting our veterans. Of those bills 12 have passed the House and 4 have been signed into law by the President.
