This is disgraceful --

Americans shouldn’t have to fear that the president’s tweets will endanger the wellbeing of them and their loved ones.

President Trump should be leading the fight against the flood of misinformation surrounding COVID-19 -- not acting as the primary source of lies undermining our nation’s ability to respond to the greatest public health crisis we’ve faced in over a century.

In the midst of a pandemic like the one we are facing now, bad information could cost lives. In order to coordinate the effective, organized response we need, every American must be equipped with the facts.

As a scientist, I’m fighting to ensure that we base our federal pandemic response on the best evidence available and the expertise of public health officials. But I’m up against a Trump loyalist who fully endorses his anti-science agenda -- will you chip in to make sure our people-powered team has the resources to defend this battleground seat?
