As you may have seen earlier this week, despite taking every precaution, including wearing a mask, social distancing and frequent hand washing, Salud was recently diagnosed with COVID-19.

He is currently isolating to protect others during his recovery, and is grateful for the outpouring of support and well wishes from so many in our community.

While Salud recovers, we keep rolling with the punches that 2020 throws at us.  If you’ve ever been involved with a campaign, you know that the last few weeks are an intense period when much of a candidate’s time is spent ensuring that the campaign has the resources to communicate with voters.  Although Salud is continuing to work virtually, we want to take as much off his plate as we can, and that starts with reducing his fundraising calls.

While we know that the campaign doesn't pause based on this new reality, we also can’t afford to slash our budget.  Our opponent’s negative ads are still running and our campaign can’t slow down.  We need to finalize our digital and television ad buys, and hope you will take a minute to visit [link removed] to donate today to help us win this race.
