Economic Recovery for WV 👍
President Trump enacted the CARES Act when Democrats held it back over liberal priorities. Now West Virginia is seeing the fruits of that decisive action by our President. WV is receiving 10.3 million dollars for small businesses and entrepreneurs affected negatively by the pandemic.
I am working hard in Congress to get another bill passed that will provide more relief to businesses. I will oppose any legislation that does not solely focus on providing commonsense economic relief to families struggling due to the pandemic. Our hope is both parties can work together to help the people most in need.

Democrats are a Danger to the Constitution ⚠️
I wrote an op-ed for the Charleston Gazette-Mail that highlighted the different outlooks Democrats and Republicans hold towards our constitution:
“On one side we have Republicans, who believe in personal responsibility, free markets and law and order. On the other side, the modern-day Democrat Party has been hijacked by socialists who want the federal government to dictate everything from the health care you receive to the car you drive.”
I will continue to work hard to defend our constitution and as your congressman, I will always focus on bringing positive change for the people of West Virginia.
Nancy Pelosi and her leftist supporters passed an expensive socialist bill, which once again puts their agenda ahead of the American people. The Heroes Act would add $2.2 trillion in taxpayer dollars to a national debt of $26.8 trillion. This radical bill includes abortion provisions and illegal immigrants receiving taxpayer funds. The bill also calls for defunding the police by eliminating relief for law enforcement. This bill is a reminder of what is at stake this November.

The President and First Lady are recovering well after testing positive for COVID-19, and our prayers are with them. Even while battling the virus, the President still works hard for the American people. Meanwhile. Republicans must focus on confirming President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee, Justice Amy Coney Barrett, who is highly qualified and a defender of the U.S. Constitution.
Republicans are also leading the fight against Communist China. Democrats refuse to join the China Task Force that will hold China accountable for the coronavirus, secure our supply chains and create jobs. 90% of Americans see China as a threat and Republicans are fighting against this threat.
