John —
I’ve never been able to rest easy — I can’t sit still for too long.
I’ve balanced multiple jobs and kids for years, and (before the pandemic) I still made it to my local YMCA every day to get in a run.
Part of my restlessness comes from the fact that there have been too many times in my life when I haven’t been able to make ends meet. When you’ve lived through the experience of barely getting by, you work like hell to make sure it never happens again.
Tens of thousands of Wisconsinites are experiencing just that right now — unable to go back to work full time because of the global pandemic mismanaged by our leadership in Washington.
These days, I’m balancing several jobs. I’m a full-time substitute teacher, I’m a homecare provider several nights a week, I’m a mom to four kids, and I’m running for Congress.
My promise to you is, as your next representative, I’ll use my experience to guide my judgement. My vote in Congress is your vote.
But I can’t fight for you in Washington without winning in November. So, if you’re able, please consider chipping in $5 or $10 to help our campaign.
Thank you,
Amanda
