I am excited to announce that next Wednesday, October 14 at 6pm PT, I am holding Connecting Latino Voices, an exciting virtual event to spotlight the incredible contributions of our local Latino community. We will discuss how we can continue engaging together to build bridges, not walls. Now more than ever, we must work to amplify the incredible voices and stories that make our community so rich and diverse and I look forward to doing that at this year’s Connecting Latino Voices.
This year’s Connecting Latino Voices will feature special guest, Congresswoman Veronica Escobar, the first woman to represent El Paso, Texas and the first of two Latinas to represent that state in Congress. She’s a fierce advocate for her constituents and someone I am honored to serve alongside in Congress. The event will take place over Zoom and be simulcast to Facebook.
