The government has convinced many of us that it's there to help.
They claim the war on drugs is to protect us from falling victim to
dangerous substances. But if they are really trying to protect us
from these substances, what sense does it make to put the victims
of these substances in prison?
He is sick. And what has the government done to help him? He
found peace in a medication that he could grow in his backyard
instead of spending everything has on medical treatments that
aren't guaranteed to work. The FDA has restricted our access to low
cost, effective treatments, and when someone wants to try another
way, they are imprisoned.
Steven Sutherland is a peaceful man, and was not harming
anyone.
Many chapters of NORML and Cannabis Open Carry Walks are calling
on everyone to call the Governor of Missouri to demand this man be
pardoned.
