I don’t think people want to go back to normal.

During this pandemic, we’ve learned what really matters to us - meaningful work, healthier living and more time with friends and family.

It’s time to put all of that at the heart of a fairer, Greener economy, which is what our new broadcast is all about.

All the time on the television, I hear people saying we should get back to normal. But for so many of us, “normal” was a disaster. 

Millions of us live in poverty. Our planet is being pushed beyond its limits. And with furlough winding down, and the eviction ban about to be lifted, we are heading into a terrifying winter.

This really is a crisis. But I see hope when communities come together to support one another, and I see hope in the promise of a Greener, fairer society to come.

The new Green Party political broadcast tells this story of hope and it’s going to be on tonight on BBC1 at 6.55pm. Please share as far and as wide as possible and help everyone believe - like I do - that Better is Possible.
